Game Review
One of the blackest days in Carlton's history arrived, and the Blues hit rock-bottom in losing to the perennial easybeats St Kilda, at the Junction Oval. This was St Kilda's only win of 1901, their first over Carlton in the VFL, and only their second victory overall in the competition. Suddenly, the spectre of the wooden spoon had re-emerged for Carlton. We were now just one win and 9% ahead of the Saints.
