Game Review
Finally, this round 3 match was played after earlier being postponed due to weather conditions (for more, see here). Finding form at the right end of the season, the Blues accounted for Melbourne despite yet another scoreless second quarter.
This was the first time in our short VFL history that Carlton had won two games in a row.
At the end of this round Carlton were in 7th spot on the ladder with a percentage of 70.6.

St Kilda | 1 | 0 | 13 | 4 | 49.82.376 | 126.205.961 | 39.1 |
Finishing 7th would mean that Carlton would play Fitzroy, Essendon and South Melbourne in the Sectional Rounds. In 1900, the ladder to Round 14 was basically discarded at this point in time and the results of the Sectionals would determine the finalists.
