Game Review

The rematch with Worrall's Same Olds after round one's thrilling draw was much-anticipated and drew a bumper 25000 crowd despite appalling weather.

The Blues seemed to be kicking themselves out of the game when they trailled at three quarter time 2-14 to 5-8. A brilliant last-quarter of 4 goals to nil gave the Blues a most satisfying 12 point win.

At the end of this round Carlton were in 3rd spot on the ladder with a percentage of 132.6.
