Game Review
Geelong really hit rock bottom with their pathetic performance against Carlton at VFL Park in a game filled with mistakes by both sides to manage their lowest tally against Carlton since 1960. Although the Blues were not anywhere near as impressive as in the past three weeks, they almost did as they liked for most of the game. The lowliness of Geelong's kicking for goal is also shown in their scoring - their worst for the season, the lowest by any team since Round six at VFL Park, and the lowest by any side in the last 11 games against Carlton who have not let any team get above 98 points (Sth Melb.) against them in this period. - Football Record.Team
