Souter/Soutar
Souter came to Carlton from the Fawkner club in 1877.
There are two players, a T. Souter and J. Souter (perhaps a brother?) named in the squad for the match against Canning and Battery United on July 05 1879.
On a few occasions T. Souter's name appears, but mostly just Souter, sometimes spelt Soutar.
Blueseum feels that T. Souter is the player mostly mentioned, as he is written about in The Footballer 1879 journal.
The Norwood Football Club's online history site called Redlegs Museum, mentions a John Souttar, & W. Souttar. Both John & W. Souttar played with the Redlegs 1878 - 1880.
According to the web site they both played with Prahran Juniors (Southern), South Yarra Imperials, & Carlton.
Thomas Souter's former club Fawkner was located in the South Yarra area. So, are these two related to Thomas?
