Danny Noonan came up through the Carlton and U/19's teams after being recruited from Carlton's zone (Mooroolbark). He played in the U/19's from 1986 to 1987, and then reserve grade from 1988 to 1989. He then headed off and played for Clarence in Tasmania for the 1990 season.
The Brisbane Bears recruited Noonan, he then played 55 games and kicked 19 goals for the Bears from 1991 to 1993.
He did not manage a senior game for Carlton.
