The Argus (July 04 p8) reporting on football injuries said;
"..... while Herbert Hainsworth, of Geelong, received a compond fracture of the jaw." (same person?)
The Geelong Advertiser August 03 1908 (p6) reporting on the Barwon v Corio match said, "The Riversiders were led by Herb Hainsworth ...."
Hainsworth was named among the best players for Barwon.

H. Hainsworth (Barwon FC) was a pall bearer at the funeral of a fellow footballer. (Geelong Advert. April 23 p5)
In 1955 a E. Hainsworth was playing cricket for Geelong club City, v .Geelong West in the cricket finals.
