Game Review

After 16 rounds the competition was incredibly close. A win over Collingwood at Victoria Park might result in top place - a loss in missing the finals altogether...

After leading all day, the Blues had to score the last goal to snatch victory, taking over second spot on the ladder and consigning the Pies to 5th place. Beautiful!! Carlton's best players were Ron Savage and Frank Anderson.

At the end of this round Carlton were in 2nd spot on the ladder with a percentage of 119.9.
