Game Review
.*Monday's Age had Carlton's goal kickers as (7 goals) Beasy 2, Crowe 2, White 2, Kerr 1The Age match report said of the third quarter;
"The Blues' total score for the quarter was two goals - and one of those was kicked by Walsh, of St.Kilda!"
The Blues wasted their chances when kicking with the wind and were held scoreless for 20 minutes of the third term when they had use of the breeze. The Blues packed the back line when kicking against it. The Saints made the most of their opportunities by forcing the ball forward by any means.
