Game Review
Adrian Gallagher was replaced by Bruce Doull in the 2nd quarter and Bert Thornley was replaced by Peter Kerr in the last quarter.
Ron Barassi was ordered to appear before the VFL executive to answer a complaint made by field umpire Don Jolley that Barassi had spoken to him on the field during the three-quarter time break of the Geelong - Carlton game. But no action was taken when Barassi said he would not offend again. - Football Life.
