Game Review
Carlton were trounced at Victoria Park. A 7 goal to nothing in the first quarter didn't help...Collingwood jumped Carlton in the first quarter, kicking with a strong wind, they used their greater pace and skill to advantage. In the second term the Blues were slow off the mark but managed to add 5.3, but the home side against the wind regained the ascendancy kicking a quick 3 goals just before half time. Two of their goals came from Carlton mistakes. The Blues despite having use of the wind in the last quarter wasted their opportunities by kicking 1.6
