After two rough decades in a row, the Carlton faithful would turn up in droves to see our hoped for resurgence. Two COVID impacted years in 2020 and 2021 under David Teague would lead to mediocre results, but a lack of finals games, before incoming President Luke Sayers drove change off field with the recruitment of Michael Voss and new CEO Brian Cook with a view to 'aligning everyone' in the pursuit of finals football, our home but a distant home for a decade or so....A heartbreaking 2022 would follow - a catalyst like 1992 or just a sign of what we'd become?
A return to finals in 2023 and 2024 off the back of Captain Patrick Cripps and our trio of top talls Weitering, Curnow and McKay would see some credibility return, alongside some concerns around player longevity and team selection. What would the rest of the decade bring?
