This is the only information Blueseum has on this player, his first name in not known.
In 1893 the Carlton Gazette has a review of a Carlton Juniors and University match and a Dalagana scored two goals.
Carlton Juniors at this time is possibly the Carlton Reserves/Second Twenty.
1895 September 21
Deleganna is named in the rather large Carlton 29 man squad to play St.Kilda at Victoria Park in the final match of the 1895 season.
1896 Departed Carlton for Fitzroy Crescent. (Mark Pennings Vol 4)
A player named F. Delaganna was playing for Fitzroy Crescent in 1899.
There is a good photo of him in Trove, The Melbourne Punch July 27 (p19) 1899
1906 March 30
At the annual general meeting of the Carlton Juniors at Copseys Hotel, M. Delegana was on the committee.
There were a lot of Carlton names as patrons Jack Worrall, R. Heatley, Cr. Ievers, J. Harrington etc.

Hi, There is a player from 1895 that you aren't sure if it's C or H Deleganna.
Both these initals are brothers but I reckon its Charlie that played because he was much younger. The older one is Frank Lewis.
Charlie was born 1879 died 31 may 1959.
Frank was born 1871 died 30 september 1941.
The proper spelling of their surname is Dellagana.
Frank was an umpire in 1899 also.
