Game Review

Geelong were equal first going into this game, and managed to take the points against the Blues. In a game of missed shots for goal, the Cats won by a point despite Carlton having 4 more scoring shots.

Umpire Hawkins failed to hear the bell signalling the end the second quarter. According to the Australasian's match report the umpire was the only person who failed to hear it!
Geelong scored a goal in this period of "extra time" and went on to win the game by the barest of margins.

Carlton fell to 8th after this loss.
