Game Review
The Blues would get the jump on the Dockers in the first quarter, but found themselves anchored as the Dockers got going.Fraser Brown would again be among our best, with 28 stats, backed up by Ratten and Allan. Silvagni would poll 2 Brownlow Votes, with former Blue Chris Bond taking 1.
Carlton sat last on the ladder with only 3 wins from 13 games, creating fears of our first wooden spoon. From this point on, the Blues managed to win a further 6 games out of 9, jumping from the bottom and settling in 11th place. Not brilliant - but at least well clear of the basement.
