Game Review

A miserable year for the Blues ended on a high note when we put Fitzroy through the mincer on their home ground, and won by a massive 80 points.
Carlton bounced out of the blocks to be six goals in front at quarter time, then increased the margin at every break thereafter. Despite this big victory over the bottom-placed Lions, Carlton still wound up the year in tenth place, with a poor percentage of 90.29. Defenders Bob Crowe and Dave Rogers played their last games in navy blue this day, signing off with some happy memories.
