The son of Laurie Kerr and brother of Peter Kerr and Stephen Kerr he was listed in 1983 but didn't play any football at Carlton, his best seasons were 1979 when he played in 22 games for 3 goals, 1981 17 games for 25 goals and 1982 where he scored 7 goals from 19 games. His only 'night' game was in 1981 when he scored 1 goal against Footscray.
