Game Review
St Kilda were a much-improved side in 1903. After ten rounds, the Saints had recorded three wins and a draw to be sitting sixth on the ladder, ahead of Melbourne and South Melbourne. But on this cool and sunny Saturday afternoon at the Junction Oval, Carlton showed the Saints no mercy. Twenty-two scoring shots to seven told the story of the match, and the Blues cruised to another convincing win.Meanwhile, in the Match of the Day between the two top sides at Victoria Park, Collingwood beat Fitzroy by 20 points to draw level with the ladder-leaders on nine wins. Carlton was still third with seven wins, and Geelong fourth with six.
