Peter Lacey was awarded a gold locket by the Waverley Football Club at their AGM held at the Bay View Hotel Carlton. He received the award for for "best all round play" for last season.
A Percy Lacey was listed as the Waverley team captain. (A family tree on ancestry.com lists Percy as brother of Billy Lacey)

There was a Peirce Lacey born 1858 in North Melbourne (died late October 1910 Heidelberg Vic) who was Billy Lacey's brother.
His death notice is registered as Percy Lacey.
1882 April 29
The Australasian reported Lacey was recruited from Waverley.
Waverley was one of many clubs located in the Carlton area. Not to be confused with the Melbourne suburb of the same name.
1883 Percy Lacey played for Waverley against Carlton in a pre season match.
1932 A death notice in The Argus on 18 October for Francis Campbell. It mentions that she was the daughter of Billy Lacey late of Maryborough, and neice of the late Peter Lacey of Carlton.
Peter Lacey transferred to Melbourne where he played 3 - 4 games 1884, 1886.
